FAQ
What types of photography do you offer?
At this time, we offer the following types of photography: Family, Couples, Newborn, Milestones, Portraits, Business, and Weddings. Due to the young age of JP Photography LLC, we are eager to experience all types of photography in order to gain knowledge to better serve the community. Many photographers specialize in one or two categories, at this time JP Photography LLC is available to discuss all categories of photography.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Chatsworth IL and regularly visit all towns in Livingston County. All session prices include photographer travel of up to 50 miles from Chatsworth, IL. Locations further than 50 miles are subject to additional cost based on travel needs. We are available to travel long distances for wedding sessions.
When will I get my photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with your photos within a maximum of 4 weeks (often times less for sessions that are not weddings). You can download the photos from the gallery and also share them.
How many pictures will I receive?
You will receive your images in an online gallery, the number of photos depend on the type of session you reserved. Number of guaranteed photos per session are listed on the investments page.
Do you have a studio for indoor sessions?
At this time, JP Photography LLC does have a personal studio for indoor photography in an in home studio. Please note that we do have pets in our home, although they do not have frequent access to the studio. We also offer client home sessions though, for example: newborn sessions at your residence. We are also eager to help locate other indoor spaces for your needs, ranging from free public spaces to private rentals. We do have studio supplies (studio lighting, backdrop stands and backdrops) that can travel to an agreed upon location.
Are retainers refundable?
Retainers are nonrefundable. Cancellations and no-shows cause our business to lose valuable time that cannot be regained. This time is also taken away from other clients.
What’s your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Clients of Jazmin Patterson Photography LLC (JPPLLC) must contact JPPLLC at least 3 days prior to cancellation or rescheduling. Prior to cancelling, please contact us to discuss your scheduling issues before making any decisions. A cancellation without contacting JPPLLC, considered a no-show, may result in the client being denied for further business with JPPLLC. Rescheduling due to client needs at least 3 days before the scheduled session will not result in additional fees. Rescheduling due to weather will not result in additional fees.
Do I get the copyright/ownership of my photos?
Jazmin Patterson Photography LLC maintains copyright and ownership off all images taken by Jazmin Patterson Photography LLC. You will receive a Print Release with your gallery to print and share the images for personal use only. Images provided to you by JPPLLC cannot be used for anything other than personal use unless permission is provided by JPPLLC. We do not provide RAW files.
