A Few Things You Might Be Wondering
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings, I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your date and venue secured. My availability is limited, and dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Seasonal mini sessions are announced throughout the year and tend to fill quickly.
Do you offer individual family sessions?
At this time, I'm focusing on weddings, seasonal mini sessions, lifestyle newborn photography, and select birth photography. Traditional individual family sessions are temporarily unavailable, but I hope to offer them again in spring 2027. Mini sessions are a wonderful option for families wanting updated photographs in the meantime!
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I'm based in Central Illinois and love documenting stories in new places. Travel fees may apply depending on the location, and I'll always discuss those details with you before booking.
Do you help with wedding timelines?
Yes, and it's one of my favorite parts of the process! I love meeting with my couples over coffee, getting to know their plans, and creating detailed photography timelines. We'll go over family portraits, important moments, and all the little details so we're prepared long before your wedding day arrives.
When will I receive my photographs?
For weddings, you'll receive a sneak peek on Facebook within 24 hours and your completed gallery within four weeks, delivered through a USB drive.
Turnaround times for other sessions are within 4 weeks of the session end time unless discussed otherwise.
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Then you're in good company! Most people tell me they feel awkward having their photographs taken. I'll give you guidance when you need it, make a few jokes along the way, and help you feel comfortable enough to simply enjoy the moment. You don't need to know how to pose. That's my job!
Can I request traditional newborn portraits during a lifestyle session?
Of course! My lifestyle newborn sessions focus primarily on natural moments in your home, but I can bring a limited selection of wraps, cloth backdrops, and coordinating swaddles for one or two classic wrapped newborn portraits if requested ahead of time.
Can you photograph my scheduled C-section?
I offer photography for scheduled C-sections, beginning approximately one hour before surgery and continuing for up to two hours afterward. Photography during surgery depends on hospital policies, medical staff approval, and access restrictions. We'll discuss those details before booking.
How do I officially reserve my date?

How do I reserve my date, and is a retainer required?
To officially reserve your date, a nonrefundable retainer is required at the time of booking.
Wedding Collections: $500 nonrefundable retainer.
All Other Sessions: $50 nonrefundable retainer.
Seasonal Mini Sessions: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
All retainers are applied toward your total package price, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your scheduled wedding or session.
Your date is officially reserved once your retainer or full payment (for mini sessions) has been received and your booking agreement has been signed.
